Don't forget...

Key Performance Indicators

KPIs are a means of seeking improvements in supplier performance and ideally should be embodied in the terms of the contract, having been established as part of the procurement planning process.

KPIs can be at a number of levels, from simple price or turnaround time improvements or encouraging innovation in the way that the contract is delivered.

Seeking improvements through KPIs is not about extracting more from the provider, but about working with them to improve quality, performance, value for money, or other aspects in such a way that both parties benefit.

Don't forget...
