Contract Renewal

As part of the management of the contract, appropriate preparations must be made in good time to allow for renewal of the contract, if needed this should be undertaken from the 'Planning' stage.

In planning for renewal, the contracting organisations should take account of the timescales associated with the pre-procurement work and supplier engagement as well as the procurement exercise itself - especially for collaborative tenders.  A Project Management Board should also be formulated accordingly to initiate the renewal process.


Don't forget...

Monitor the (KPIs), ensure regular supplier review meetings and if Community Benefits are involved complete the Measurement Tool and return to Value Wales.
