Supplier Debrief

Supplier debriefing is an integral part of a quality approach to procurement, based on continuous improvement principles and linked with establishing sound communications.

Debriefing must be offered to suppliers not selected to tender or where the tenderer was not awarded the contract in procurements that are both above and below the prescribed EU thresholds.

Debriefs should be constructive and open which will help suppliers to improve their performance, meaning they stand a better chance of winning future business, helping ensure that the market remains competitive.
